Chest Burning, Breaks Out In Sweat, Tingling Sensation In Arms, Legs, Numbness On Face, Lasts For 5-10seconds.

My husband has been experiencing chest burning, he breaks out into a sweat, tingling sensation in both arms and legs, numbness on his face, and a weak feeling like he is going to fall. Normally it lasts from 5 to 15 seconds and it stops. This week alone this has happened at least on 4 separate occasions. He works 3rd shift and this occurs mostly at work. Yesterday around 4pm he had one of these episodes and he passed out as a result. He has been the doctor and referred to a cardiologist. they didn't find anything. He was hit with a ball bat when he was 10. His skull was crushed and they had to do surgery. I worry that this could be contributing to what is happening now. I plan to make him an appointment Monday morning. What is happening with my husband???

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
When he was 10 years old ,he got injury and operated for this .
Now he is having giddiness very frequently but at the time of working hours , so cause may be ,
1 Old injury in the brain may turn into a hematoma or tumor . Diagnosis can be confirmed by M R I of brain .
2 Postural hypo tension may be the next reason. As I have noted so many times that after exertion patient develops decrease in blood pressure and this causes dizziness , may be in your husband case. Diagnosis can be confirmed physical examination at the time of episode.
3 Tension or hyper acidity may be the another reason . Diagnosis can be confirmed by upper G I endoscopy .
In my opinion consult a neurologist and get his opinion for old lesion.
Good luck. Dr. HET
