Chest Discomfort When Walking Fast. No Acid Reflux. Problem With Lungs Or Esophagus?
I have a some discomfort in my chest when I walk a little faster. It is not my heart. I have a thorough check of that. I only feel it when I move faster. I do not have acid reflux. I had a quick check of my lungs, not a thorough one. I can not exercise because of it. Could I have a real problem with my esophagus or my lungs?
You could have asthma. Asthma or any kind of reactive airways can cause a discomfort, tightness or burning in the chest with exertion/exercise. If this continues you will want to see your GP...and discuss the possibility that you have a form of asthma. The use of an inhaler with exertion or before will likely help.
