i am feeling pain in chest off and on what type of exercise and food would you suggest

Your exercise and diet must be age appropriate taking into consideration any coexisting problems that you have i.e. diabetes or hypertension. It is best to have plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits and raw well washed salads. Restrict fat to 20-25% of total dietary intake (polyunsaturated fat is better) proteins to 30-40% and rest carbohydrate. A major portion must be constituted by bulk forming substances as indicated above.
You can freely take walking exercises depending on your cardiac status. If age and cardiac status permit, use of guided treadmill is beneficial for most people. Yoga will also be helpful.
