Chest Pains When Laughing, Taking Deep Breath After Falling Down. Need To Be Concerned?
i was playing soccer and the goalie ran into me and hit my chest really hard (im a girl by the way, the goalie was a very tall guy) and i fell to the floor in pain. its been a couple of hours and my chest still hurts, especially if i take a deep breath or laugh or sometimes when i move. is there any concerns?
Hi, I have gone through your queris and understand your concerns. However I think you are having musculoskeletal pain, which should be relieved by some pain killer medicine along with antacids for few days. However if the pain is very sharp and there is localised pain on slight pressing with finger, you need to do a chest xray focussing on that specific point to exclude rib fracture. However if there is no breathing problem,I think you neednot worry regarding any damage to the heart. However if you are to much concerned, an echocardiography will rule out any damage to your heart. If your pain persists, you need to consult a doctor.
