Chest Tightness, Expanded Stomach, Gastrocolic Reflex When Passing Tools
Hi, I have a high degree of chest tightness (not burning sensation) and a rather expanded stomach . Only my stomach has a bulge and all other parts of the body are leaner in size. I do not experience this Gastrocolic Reflex when passing tools and rather have to make some effort on my own to get stools out of my system. I feel this causes the expansion in my stomach and thereby the chest tightness. I am based in Bangalore and would like to seek advise from you. I am open to visiting a specialist who thinks he/she understands my problem and has a solution for it. Regards Venu
I can understand this situation can be really uneasy for you. However, i am hoping that you understand that diet plays a very important role in regulating your body functions, especially the digestive system. Chest tightness can be caused sometimes due to constipation. If you think that your stools are not semi solid and easy to pass out, then you probably need to include a lot of fruitss and vegetables along with a lot of water. Every morning, make it a habit to drink at least 6-8 big glasses of warm water in empty stomach and do not eat anything for atleast 45 mins after that. You will surely pass out stools regularly if you continue this. Once your bowel becomes normal, you will realise your digestive system gets lighter and easier to work and you will not feel any tightness in the chest or a bulged stomach. Please avoid fatty/fried foods till your stomach gets back to normal. I am based in Bangalore and I provide telephonic counseling as well. You can email me on anshranju@gmail.com and I can send you a diet chart after checking your body conditions.
Good luck!!!
