Chest X-ray. Is There Any Solution For Left Mid Zone ?

hi, this is SYED age 32 years from hyderabad,,, sir i had some medical tests regarding the visa process for saudia arabia . they failed me in the test by giving a report that my chest x ray shows LEFT MID ZONE CALCIFICATION , then i had x ray from another famous radiologist he says that i had nothing when i discussed this thing to people who failed me in the test they says that i dont have any problem but there is a effective starch on my chest and there is no solution for that and i cant go to gulf countries coz of GCC rules,, kindly help me in this,,, is really there is no solution for this problem

Hi Syed,
I understand your concerns for your health and also of not clearing the Medical required before going to Saudi Arabia. Allow me to put things in the correct perspective. Calcific densities you mention in left middle zone indicate old healed infection, and in India most likely to be tubercular infection. If you have had treatment for TB anytime in the past, such scars can persist forever, and it is best to disclose this aspect to the Doctor conducting the Medical examination ... If you have some previous chest X-Rays, it would be even better. As far as I know, atleast for people immigrating to Canada, stability of chest X-Ray findings, including calcification in X-Rays taken 3 months apart, alongwith negative Sputum culture reports on 3 consecutive days is taken evidence of inactivity, and person allowed to undergo travel. Worst thing you can do is to hide crucial history of past treatment for TB, if any. I will be happy to answer any more queries that you may have. I wish you luck and good health.
