Chest X-ray Showed Dense Calcific Nodule At The Right Paracardiac Region, Suspected Granuloma Representing Old TB. Explain

After Chest X-Ray the report showed "a dense calcific nodule at the right paracardiac region, raising suspicion of a granuloma which could represent old TB." Having been born and raised in the USA, now living in Sydney, Australia for the past 30 years and never having any symptoms of TB, what else could these results indicate - Please advise and explain in full detail, PLEASE...??? Male, 42 years of age, Ankylosing Spondilitis, Type II Diabetes but under control, Androgen Deficiency on Reandron Injections every 3 months.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Look the granuloma being used by the radiologist in slang way otherwise this term specially used by pathologist only because it is more pathological changes grossly can be observed, what ever the calcified lesion detected in x-ray this could be fibrosis due to keloid formation or due to some nonspecific reason this could be consider normal and no need to worry about this (For sure this is not the sing of old TB) take care and have very good time.( Detection of granuloma in radio imaging is only possible when it is big enough for that )
