Child. Abnormal, Difficulty In Breathing. Diagnosed Allergy Due To Weather. Suggested Nebulization And Myteka For 3 Months. Asthma?
Dear Sir, On April 22 night my song who is 6.5 years old suddenly showed abnormal breathing. his breathing was fast and with jerks having difficulty in breathing, after some time when he went to sleep breathing became somewhat normal but in the morning when he woke up it again started, so I took him to the child specialist in the morning. He said that my son has severe allergy due to summer weather starting and he gave 2 injections in his vein (don't remember name, will check on perscription) then nablized with ventolin 0.5cc + NS 2cc and Clenial A 1cc + NS 2cc.
then he gave britnyl (1+1+1) and zatofin syrup (1+1) with nabulization with ventolin after every 3 hours and with clenial A after every 6 hours and Solo tablets 1 daily.
after 2 days he prescribed septipan DS .5+.5. My son was feeling well when next day he caught little fever so doc added brufin syrup (1+1+1+1).
My kid was then fine and going to school normally when after 2 weeks he missed 2 days doze of solo tablet. next day symptoms of breathing came back and he was coughing all night. Then we took him to another specialist which admitted him in hospital and gave him IV with Oxidil injections and hydro sodium succinate along with nabulization with atovent + ventolin every 6 hour and clenial A every 8 hours.
After 2 days of treatment my sone is discharged from hospital and now at home. Doc asked to nablize him 3 time a day with Atem and Clenial C and Cleritik suspension 7.5ML twice a day and Myteka tablet 1 daily.
It has been 2 days since he is discharge from hospital. The congestion of my son's chest is now getting away and he is felling much better.
I want to know about whether he is suffering from Asthma or it was really a seasonal allergy which got worse?
What if he has no asthma and taking Myteka... could it develop symptoms of asthma by taking pills?
Doc told me that asthma in children is gone with time and he has to take Myteka for 3 months after which he will fully recover from asthma and never catch it again and when he ages to 12+ it is no issue for him...correct?
Please guide me more on this as I am really concerned for my child's health

Your child seems had episode of hyper reactive airway disease in which narrowing of the small airways occur as a response to an allergen.
For first episode we can't say it is an attack of asthma.
Do you have family history of asthma or atopy?
Continue the medication as advised by the pediatrician.
Be in regular follow up with the pediatrician to assess the frequency and severity of his symptoms on regular basis and to plan a specific treatment plan.
As the age increases there are chances of getting improvement in his symptoms due to increasing in the size of airways.
