Child. Has IIH. Trouble With Iodiopathic Sinus Tachycardia. All Other Tests Normal. Connection?

My granddaughter, age 8, was diagnosed with IIH last year. They did a spinal tap and got a small amount of fluid. Now this year she is having trouble with iodiopathic sinus tychacardia (sp? sorry). All other test that they have done come back in normal range or negative to anything they are testing. Can the tycharcardia and the IIH be related?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Idiopathic sinus tachycardia and the prdvious episode of Hemorrhage are unrelated.

Was the child investigated for the reason for bleeding that time?

At present I advise you to take the opinion of pediatric cardiologist to evaluate for the causes of present heart rhythm abnormality by apprpriate investigations.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
