Child. Irritable, crying, Semi Formed Stools, Diarrhea. Stool Culture Showed Pus Cells 4-5. Possible UTI Or Teething Problem?
Hello, My daughter seems to have a urinary tract infection :the doctor asked for me to have a urine culture and stool analysis done for her. The urine test takes a couple of days to be done though and the results haven't been out yet. The stool analysis results were the following: Pus cells 4-5 RBCs 0-1 Starch + Veg. Cells +
May I please know does this mean my daughter has a bacterial infection? I am waiting on the results of the urine culture but I believe that she does --she's very irritable she has a strong appetite but she is irritable. She also cries uncontrollably when she wakes up it's just not like her. I thought it was due to teething .... her stools were semi-formed and diarrhea- like but now I'm starting to think she does have an infection we went to the beach for two days and came back and that is how she was. Can someone please tell me what this is about?
