ya Actually my sisters daughter falldown on bowl which is sharpoen so that happened before 10 days more than 50% it covered but now we suspecting it may be give mark on eyebrow to above 1inch length so is there any iontment to cover that mark ??? Please Advice she of 2 and half years old. can i expect answer from you??? Please we are feeling very tensed please advice. Will you give response or not.
Sorry to hear about your child's problem. There are various ointments available in the market to reduce the intensity of a scar but they only work when the scar is well healed. One of them is known as No mark and the other one is Mederma. You can apply this twice over the area for 1 month. Please make sure that there is no infection in the wound.
The mark post a clean and lacerated wound usually heals but leaves a scar which looks worrisome in the beginning but as the child grows the skin become firm and the scar lightens and grows smaller in size as compared to the surface area of the rest of the body.
Post an injury if the skin is approximated by suturing then the scar is much lesser.In future after the child grows if the mark is still causing cosmetic issues then a plastic surgeon could be consulted.
