Child. Recurring Ulcers On Tongue. Has The Habit Of Thumb Sucking. Suspected Aphthous Ulcer. Remedy?

Hi, my 13 month old child having recurrent ulcers on upper surface of her tongue,which appears as one or two tiny rd spots which gradually increases in size & then disappear after 1 or 2 weeks,this happens 4 times since last 2 months. she is a thumb sucker. acc to GP its aphthous ulcer , I want to know why its appearing again & again , what should be remedy or is there any way to stop them. Thanks.

Hi,
It seems that due to sucking of thumb there might be having infection producing aphthous ulcer.
Stop thumb sucking.
Give some B.complex and pro-biotic drops or lactobacillus syrup after consulting doctor.
Ok and take care.
