Child Born With Rare Chromosome Disorder, Duplex Kidneys And Bilateral Reflux. Pushing The Lower Stomach Down While Standing. Why?
Hi I have a son with a rare chromosome disorder and also was born with duplex kidneys and bilateral reflux which is said to have stopped! He doesn t talk just babbles and is 3.6 yrs, I ve noticed past 6 months he pushes his very lower stomach just above his penis (pubic region) when fully clothed either standing up or when lying on tummy... Would there be any specific reason for this? My email is YYYY@YYYY thank you
Considering your little boy is 3.5 years with duplex kidneys with bilateral reflux (? resolved/ stopped), my first concern with him pressing the lower abdomen is i) does he have an urinary tract infection - children find it very difficult to express the symptoms of an urinary infection and it is usually general things that point to it ii) second concern is does he have trouble passing stools too ? is he constipated ? does he pass very hard bolus of stool ?
Do revert with answers to above queries. Also could you mention the grade of the reflux on his previous studies
