Child Complaining Of Fever, Itchy Skin With Welts On Ankle, Red Bumps On Back Of Legs, Swollen And Itchy Eyelids. What Could It Be?
My 6 year old came home from school early with a low grade fever on yesterday and complained of headache and her legs hurting. I been giving her ibuprofen and tylenol to break the fever. Now she stll has fever and itchy skin with welts on her ankle and a few red bumps on the back of her legs and swollen itchy eyelids???

Your child seems to have viral infection and this may take few days to come around and can be treated with symptomatic medicine for the itchy condition any antihistamine can be tried "Diphenhydramine" would be the drug of choice for this and nothing to worry about this if this is fails to response or if it taking longer than enough time then child need to be examined by paediatrician, hope this could help you have nice day
