Child Complaining Of Stomach Pain, Feverish Feeling After Jumping Off A Swing. Worrisome?

hi my name is Stephanie , I have a question ... my daughter was playing on the swing set we have in our back yard and had jumped off. She is now complaining of her stomach hurting and also feels like she has fever . (Havent check her temp yet.) Should i be concerned ? Or will maybe some childrens tylenol work for the pain and upset stomach?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Check for tenderness over her abdomen and if it is there, you need to get a CT Scan of abdomen done to rule out any intra-abdominal bleed which can be very serious. At least, you must see a Pediatric Surgeon who should look out for other signs of bleed like rising pulse and falling BP. Good luck.

Pediatrician, Neonatology Dr. Uma Rajah Ananth's  Response
Hi
As the child has jumped from the swing - not fallen down - the stomach pain may not have any relation to the event.
Tylenol will help in fever and body pain, but not stomach pain
If the pain continues, you must seek medical attention
Good luck
