I have a 14 yr old son just recently diagnosis with Hashimoto s Thyroiditis . He has , in the past had some shortness of breath....some lightheadedness and bad headaches...some chest pain...all chest xrays and PFT s show he is ok. However, an EKG was done on him recently and it showed sinus tachycardia and incomplete RBBB ... I am concerened.
The incomplete right bundle branch block seems to be a congenital condition and you need to show him to a cardiologist as he's symptomatic. Hashimoto's thyroiditis, if causing hypothyroidism, then only causes headache kind of symptoms. Fluid retention causes burden on the heart. Hypothryoidism, if any, please get treated properly as it will avoid fluid retention in him. I hope you got your answer. For any further query please get back.
