Child Fell And Hit Back Of Head. Has Fever And Tiredness. Vomited. Should I Take To ER?

My son, 20 months, fell and hit the back if his head at the pediatrician yesterday. Cried, then seemed ok. Ped said use ice. This morning, he woke with a fever. Was cranky and tired all day. Went to bed at 6:00. Now, he just vomitted then went back to sleep. Should I wake him & go to ER now or wait until tomorrow and go to his pediatrician?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

There are certain danger signs after a head injury. If a child develops projectile vomiting, loss of consciousness, seizures or ear or nose bleed after a head injury then he should be taken to the ER at the earliest possible.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
