Child Fell Down, Got Hurt In Neck. Now Neck Is Hurting, Fever, Headache. Caused Due To The Fall?
Hello, I have a question.my 5 year old daughter fell off a swing on Thursday, she has been playing normally but occasionally says her neck hurts, I figured she would be a little sore from the fall. But last night she has started to run a fever. And she woke up with a head ache. She doesn't have any other symptoms other than the fever and neck hurting. Could the fever be retaliated to the fall

She should be examined in emergency department . and get her Xray neck done take it seriously. Give her pain killers and antibiotics in case of infection after consulting your doctor. Yes fever can be due to the fall and its related pain and inflammation.
