Child Gets Itchy Before Sleep. Is This Anxiety Or Something Else?

My 7 yr old son has been itchy right before falling asleep for about three months. It takes him anywhere from 20 - 60 minutes to fall asleep because of it. During the day he is fine and doesn t complain until after I read to him and it time to go to sleep. What can be causing this? Is it anxiety because he d rather go to my bed?

NO IT DOES NOT SEEM ANXIETY...HE MIGHT HAS SOME ALLERGY FROM THE BEDINGS... YOU DID NOT MENTIONED SITE OF ITCHING....IF IT IS PERIANAL...THEN IT IS DUE TO PARASITE INFESTATION...
