Child Had Fever, High Pulse Rate, Vomiting. What Could It Be?
My six year old sister is suffering from a minor fever of about 101F and has a high pulse rate. She started throwing up at about 6am, threw up every hour for about 6 or 7 hours and has not currently thrown up for about 3 hours. She s currently sitting upright, giggling about dancing. She was in a lethargic state prior to her happiness. Any idea what it could be?
good afternoon. the condition might be a might be a minor viral fever with viral gastritis. do not worry, continue giving her paracetamol and tepid sponging with warm water to reduce fever. give her soft food in small quantities frequently , maintain her hydration, watch for rashes with fever, if any loose stools begin, or if the fever is not getting controlled beyond 3 days, kindly get her examined by a doctor.
