Child Had Ovarian Cyst Removed. Is Exhausted, Nauseous And Pale. LGA Level Is 35. Normal?

My 13 year old daughter recently had an 11 cm ovarian cyst removed and now three months later is exhausted and pale and feeling nauseauos quite a bit. Her GI doctor did alot of blood work testing for everything from mono to K levels. Her only abnormal finding is her Iga level was 35. What is the normal level of Iga in a 13 year old and what could this mean?

The normal level of Ig A in a 13 years old female child is 148+/-63 mg/dL.

It means your child serum Ig A level is below the normal range.

But the interpretation of the report should be done by your daughter treating doctor in correlation with her clinical problems to suggest any abnormality.

The cause for her exhaustion and paleness should be evaluated further depending on her clinical examination by the pediatrician.
