Should I Be Concerned For The Bulky Uterus And Size Of The Right Ovary?
I had pelvic scan and it stated:an anteverted slightly bulky uterus measuring 12.1x4.3cmx5.3cm Without signs of endometrial deco dual reaction but with copper T iucd .no demostrable uterine fibroids or changes of adenomysis. There are also no signs of an extra-uterine pregnancy mass or pelvic abscess collection nor bleeding. There is a right ovary follicle measuring 29mm in diameter The left ovary and urinary bladder are normal. Conclusion Slightly bulky non-pregnant uterus without associated ectopic pregnancy or poly cystic ovary disease nor pelvic abscess collection , Question Is there anything to worry about as per right ovary size What of the size of the uterus too?.
There is no need to worry about right ovary since it is only a functional cyst which means it's normal. Yes of course, the uterus is bulky. It could be due to adenomyosis also. If your are having regular periods without any problem then no need to worry about anything as for now. Just take a scan after 6 months.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
