Child Has A Little Bump On The Inside Of The Eye. Seems To Be A Bump & Deep, In Inner Canthus. Suggestions?
My 2 year old has a little bump on the inside corner of her eye. I thought it was a mosquito bit but its been almost a week not going away. I finally got a chance to palpate and it is a bump, that feels a little deep. It isn't on the eye lid. It is in the crease, bottom of the bump is on the bridge of the nose between the top and lower eyelid (inner canthus)

Hi,Your 2 year old has a bump on the in side corner of the eye, since a week.
It appears to be the infection of the inner end of the eye, may be due to a foreign body.
I to my patient with such symptoms will prescribe, amoxycillin syrup, 5 ml thrice a day, and gentamycin eye drops.
