Hi Dear

Welcome to the platform of Health care Magic.

Your child is having nocturnal cough, cause is usually allergic bronchitis. Bronchospasm develops usually during night and early morning.

Bronchodilator drugs along with some immuno modulators for some long time will help along with oral and nebulized form.

Allergen like dust, smoke, pollens etc to be avoided to prevent the trigger.

Off and on steroid inhalers like budicort to be used when ever spasm is severe and not responding to bronchdilators like salbutamol preparations.

He should also be investigated such as CBC,ESR, AEC, Mx Test, CXR etc Many times raised eosinophil could also suggest about the some parasites inside the body which in turn causing allergies and bronchospasm. They can be treated well with drugs.

Hope the query is answered and useful.

Thanks
