Child Has Loose Motion, Fever. Administered Crocin, Rinifol. Motion Is Yellowish, Loss Of Appetite. Treatment?

My 21/2 yr daughter had loose motion 4-5 times today and fever from afternoon.its around 103F.have given crocin for fever n rinifol for motion.her motion are yellowish with curdy look and sticky.wat sld b dne?she have hardly eaten anything.can loose motion be reason of fever?

Hello , Fever associated with loose motions are mostly viral in origin & normally self corrects in one weeks time . Crocin & rinifol are good enough & you need to give plenty of fluids as well as ors so that dehydration doesn't set in. In case loose motions are associated with blood or mucus get a stool test done to rule out bacterial infection in which case antibiotics need to be given. Wish your daughter a speedy recovery.
