Hi, my 14 month old son randomly get these little bumps that look like small mosquito bites, but they re gone within 25-30 minutes so it s hard to take him to the dr because they would be gone by the time i got him there. They re not really red, just raised bumps JUST like a small mosquito bite before it gets red. He just had the biggest outbreak i ve seen to date-- a big cluster on the side of his jaw, a few on his sides, and a few on his arms. In the past 6 months i ve seen this a few times, but it s usually just a small cluster on his wrist . Please help! Michelle
Hello
Red bumps lasting for such a short duration with changing sites are suggestive of urticaria. These are usually cholinergic urticaria. Common sites are cheek ,arms and trunk and occurs following sweating.
An antihistaminic will be helpful in this condition.
I would suggest you to consult your doctor for clinical examination to make a diagnosis and then management accordingly.
