Child Has Sore Armpit, Redness. Applied Germolene. Need To See A Doctor?
Hi my 5 year old son complained earlier today if a sore armpit, when I looked it seemed a bit red and I put some germolene on it as all I had. I have just gone to check in him in bed and noticed that the redness had now spread to the area down from his armpit to top of his side. It is only on one side, should I take him to doctors or just keep putting cream on?

Yes, if it is spreading all the more reason that you take him to a doctor.
It. may be some skin infection or cellulitis and antibiotics may be needed especially if it is staph infection.
Better to avoid scratching the area.
