Child Have A Lump On The Groin Area. No Medication Till Now. What Can This Be?

I noticed my 1 year old has a lump on the left groin area. I'm concerned because it has been there for about a week.
It is about half way between his thigh and his crotch and sometimes it is very apart and other times it s not so apparent. He doesn't seem to be in pain........I'm just worried about him. Do you have any advice?

Hello,
Please consult a pediatric surgeon at earliest.
There are many conditions where lumps are seen in groin region. It could be lymph nodes or hernia (cant say precisely because of limited information available.
Since your son is just a year old, you never know, it could be a surgical emergency as well.
Please do not worry.
Best wishes
