Child Have Loose Motion, Not Eating Properly And Vomiting. Gave Domstal And Emiset. What To Do?
good afternoon doctor, my son is having 2 years 6 months old. past 3-4 days he is not taking any food. 2 days loose motion and vomitting started. i admitted to hospital and yesterday evening discharged. but now again started the same vomitting and loose motion. i gave domstal and emiset for vomitting, but its not reducing little also
Emeset and Domstal will decrease the vomiting, but you should try to cure the underlying cause of vomiting.
After reading your post, it seems that he is having some infection in his gastro-intestinal tract, which is also causing loose motion.
If the infection is cured by proper antibiotic or antiamoebic, its symptoms like loose motion and vomiting will also get cured.
I would suggest you that you should get his stool examination done to know the type of infective organism and start the medicines accordingly after getting him examined clinically by his Paediatrician.
