My grandaughter has a temp of 39.7 with laboured breathing, she keeps saying her eye is sore and pulls her ear. she ha sbeen having these temps for four days on and off. not eating or very very little. sleeping for hours, had 13hrs last night. been to a doctor the other day but just told to give her nurofen with food or panadol. She is 3 in July. Can I do anything for her. have given her a tepered bath this morning but still not eating. Regards concerned grandma

I also want you to take her to the doctor because she is having laboured breathing. This is a danger sign. Another danger sign she is having is poor feeding. After a physical examination your doctor may advise certain investigations. Based on the investigation reports he may start further treatment.
