Child Having Fever, Normal After Giving Crocin, Have Good Diet. Novamox 250 Mg Can Be Given?
My daughter is 8 years old and she is having fever from last 2 days. We are giving Crocin DS syrup 8ml if the fever is above 100 degrees. But the fever is not exceeding 101 degrees. Her in take of food is good. But the temparature is coming normal after the medicin is giving. why the temp is not normal. Can we give Novamox 250 mg syrup in this case.
hello, to me it seems to be a case of viral fever coming at the time of seasonal variations. if everything other than fever is normal and your child is perfectly normal in non-febrile intervals, u need not give her any medications other than anti-pyretics (fever lowering drugs like paracetamol). but i would advice you to visit your pediatrician as the child needs to be examined physically to look for any illness that needs specific treatment. and it is never advisable to start any antibiotics without the advice of a doctor so, u can wait till u see a doctor for giving your daughter a prescription. thanks
