Hello,
The cerebral atrophy may indicate that either his brain has not formed as much as it should have formed or that there was a damage to the brain during early childhood. The mega cisterna magna also indicates the same and does not have an additional significance. The brain is not functioning adequately and so his speech is affected. For epilepsy he needs to be on regular medication. For hyperactivity also there are medications available. However for speech there is no medication which can help. he has to be trained by speech pathologists and child psychologists for future development.
Good luck.
Mega cisterna magnoa basically means that there is a larger than normal fluid cavity in the back of the brain. This does not specifically require any treatment. Cerebral atrophy means that there is a shrinkage of the brain volume for some reason.
As far as the symptoms you report, these will need to be assessed by a neurologist who deals with epilepsies (Epileptologist) and probably undergo other tests depending on what the clinical findings are. With this you should get a better control of the epilepsy.
Hope this helps.
