Child Suffering From Lymph Nodes In Cervical Region. FNAC Done. What Does Report Suggest?
Good Evening Sir, My Son aged 13 years he is suffering with right side neck 3X2 cms Firm tender jugulodigastric lymph node and Multiple lypmph nodes left cervical region. I have gone to FNAC the FNAC Impression is " THE FEATURES ARE SUGGESTIVE OF CHRONIC NON SPECIFIC REACTIVE LYMPHADENITIS" Please inform me about this case.
HI DEAR AND WELCOME TO HCM ...... Dear non specific reactive lyphadinitis means, this lymph node tissue form due to recurrant sore throat/ tonsilitis/or any infection in mouth or throat .... specific chronic reactive lymphadinitis means TB in most cases.... so it is neither TB nor a lymphoma or leukemia ..... it is just due to recurrant throat infection....so nothing to be worry about ..... have a good day ....
