Child Taken OPV Vaccine. Should Hep B Vaccine Be Taken From The Start?

My baby was given a painless vaccine (one shot only) at this 6th week and 10th week. As per the chart, it covered OPV or IPV/DPT/HIB/HEP-B both the times. Now we have moved to a different doctor (due to relocation), but the new doc says HEP B might not have been given earlier as it does not come in one shot, and asking us to start HEP B vaccine all from start. Can you tell us what can be done? (old doc no longer reachable) Each shot cost us 2500/-

Certain brands of combination vaccine come with hepatitis B also. So can you tell me the exact brand of the vaccine that is given.

If you cannot recollect then the price of the vaccine may give a clue to the type of vaccine that is given.

the combination which you are mentioning is available in market.when u have given your baby this combination go ahead with it at 14th week and booster at 18 months.the diseases mentioned in it will protect your babies.but keep the documents of all vaccination up to date with you.
