Child Wakes Up From Sleep With Welts On Face. No Different Food, Drink Given. Sheets Changed. Cure For Symptoms?

my 7 month old has gotten up from his nap and night's sleep the last 2 days with welts on his face and upper arms. we have not done anything different as far as food or drink. he weighs 19 lbs. has never had a rash of any kind. I had thought it was spider bites but he even gets them while he is playing or sitting next to me. I have changed the sheets each day these past 2 days.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

A visual examination is required to identify the cause.
Does he have any itching?
Is there any breathing difficulty?

If it is because of allergy then antihistaminics prescribed by your doctor after physical examination will be useful.

Continue to ask further queries.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
