Child With Fluctuating Temperature And Headache. Is There Any Remedy?

MY GRAND DAUGHTER AGE 6 IS HOME WITH A 101.7 TEMP & A VERY BAD HEADACHE. THIS IS THE 4TH DAY.
HER TEMP HAS BEEN ABOUT 100 2 DAYS AGO IT WENT TO 102 THAN BACK DOWN. WHAT CAN MOM AND I DO TO HELP HER HEADACHE. SHE HAS A APPOINTMENT TOMORROW WITH HER DOCTOR

Hi,thank you for the interest you have shown in HCM.Your grand daughter is having fever with severe headache for the last 4 days.OK if it is not associated with vomitings,you can as well give Paracetamol as per the weight and do tepid water sponging and if there is no response add Ibuprofen at least 1-2 doses to get relief from the headache as mostly viral fevers respond by 5-7 days,otherwise you have to consult a Pediatrician to exclude some important conditions like Meningitis etc.
