Child With Intermittent Blurry,shaky Vision And Pounding Headache. Optometry Test Done. Causes?
Ten year old daughter with 6-8 wks of intermittent blurry and shaky vision and headache, often pounding. Optometry appt today results:
Slight Rx for reading +50 Eye exercises to help correct a minor convergence issue Swelling/bulging in back of eye (disc, nerve?)---referral to ophthalmology for a test to hopefully determine cause. Not sure when she'll be seen. What are some causes of these symptoms?
get her to opthalmologist so that he will check her for glaucoma,any retinal problem by fundoscopy and also any retro bulbar neuritis ect..she may also need checked for any visual field defects...
