Child With Sore Throat. Had Tonsillitis. Any Thing Serious?
My four yr old has had tonsilitis five times since she was 1 yr old. Hasnt had a bout in a yr but brought to doc 3 weeks ago & was prescribed distaclor, course of 5 days. On 5th day I rang doc as her tonsils were still very large, told that sometimes kids do have large tonsils but that doesn t mean they are infected. She seemed ok for a few days but is now complaining of a sore throat although not having difficulty swallowing, doesn t have a temperature or any of the usual symptoms. Should I bring her back to the doctor?
