Child With Sore Throat, Low Grade Fever. Allergy Or Rheumatic Fever?

my 6yr old son was c/o allergy like symptoms including a sore throat off/on about 2-3weeks ago, he didnt feel warm so temp was never taken. His sister was taken to dr and dx with allergies as well so strep never crossed my mind at the time due to his temp not being elevated. He ran a low grade temp of 100.6 - 4 nights ago brought to pediatrician and +strep. Now on amox 400mg x10days. If he had strep this entire time that was missed could he now have rheumatic fever, if so what would i look for specifically and how do i proceed. Now very worried i missed this

Rheumatic fever is more common in girls ant its not necessary that your son will have it , the early signs are migratory joint pains.

As you stated the problem baby seems to have only respiratory tract infection.
It doesnt seems to have Rheumatic fever , this fever have their own typical feature-
As it usually presents with Fever with Joint pain. joint pai (Arthritis) usually affect large joints like Knee, Elbow, Ankle, Wrist. Affected joints are usually swollen tender and characteristically migrates from one joint to other joint.
