Child With Stomach Pain, Constipation, Vomiting. What Can I Give Her?

My daughter woke up this morning at 4am with stomach pain, i gave her motrin thinking it would go away. She woke up an hour later with stomach still hurting and she felt like she needed to poop but nothing would come out. She went about 3-4 times and was not able to poop. Then she also started vomiting. She doesnt want to eat, stomach is still upset and still had vomiting and not pooped yet....What can it be, or what can i give her to make her stomach pain go away and her be able to poop?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

For the control of vomitings you can give an anti emetic like ondansetron in prescribed dose.
Maintain her hydration by giving sips of oral rehydration fluids like Pedialyte.

She needs physical examination by her Pediatrician to look for the causes of vomitings and pain abdomen.

Therefore consult the pediatrician for the examination and specific treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.

Hi
Thanks for your query.
Your child is having symptoms of acute gastritis .
For persistent vomiting give antiemetic like domperidone or ondensteron in prescribed dosage.
Maintain hydration by giving fluids frequently in small amounts.
Give lemon water,coconut water,curd.

If symptoms persist get her evaluated by pediatrician for proper assessment and management.

Wishing your child good health.
God bless..

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Your child requires to be examined by your pediatrician for the exact cause of pain abdomen and vomiting.

Is there any distention of the abdomen?
Where exactly in the abdomen she is complaining of pain?

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
