Child's Loose Motion After Vaccination

R/Sir, My child is 2 and 1/2 month old . Recently he has been vaccination dose of 10weeks .i.e of OPV, DPT, Hepatitis B II dose . Now after 1 day he is having a loose watery i.e. curdy like stools 4-5 times a day. suggest me what to do now. ---H. Patley

There is no relationship with those vaccinations and loose motions your baby is having.

Is your baby breast fed or not?

Are you giving any bottle feeding?

Is it watery and large in quantity?

Is your baby showing any signs of dehydration like not passing urine or sunken eyes etc?

first of all accept my congratulation for being parent of a timely vaccinated child.
nothing to worry, continue breast feeding as frequently as possible and keep a vigil for letharginess, decreased urination and increased frequeny of stool. if any of these features seen consult a paediatrician nearby.
