Child's Urinalysis Shows PUS Cells As Many. Suggestions?

Hi. I need help in interpreting the result of urinalysis for my child who is a 6 year old boy. The result are as follows: Color: yellow Transparency: Slightly turbid Reaction: Neutral pH: 7.0 Specific gravity: 1.015 Bilirubin/Glucose/Ketones/Nitrite/Urpobilinogen/Leukocyte : all negative Protein: Positive Pus Cells: Many/hpf RBC: Many/hpf Epithelial: Many Mucus Threads: Moderate Bacteria: Many Amorphous Urates: Many Thank you very much.

Hello Claudia,
Pus cells in the urine of a 6 year BOY indicates urinary tract infection.
The infection requires urgent attention as its also showing RBC ( red blood cells)
He will require antibiotics.
If he is having repeated attacks get him evaluated for any structural problems in urinary tract or for any cause of lowered immunity

Result shows urinary tract infection. Rule out Bladder or Kidney stones. Consult a doctor for proper treatment.
