Cleaning Ears, Sharp Pain, Bleeding From Ear Canal. Emergency Situation?

I was just cleaning my ears out after my shower with a Qtip and felt a sudden sharp pain. I then noticed a small amount of blood when I put a small piece of tissue in my ear. By no means is blood dripping from my ear but I do have a little bit of blood in my ear canal , should I be worried/go to urgent care or wait it out?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi,
2 possibilities.
either your ear canal is injured or the ear drum is injured.
in any case dont worry.
keep your ears dry and do not try to clean your ears.
injuries of the ear canal or the drum heal very well if not secondarily infected.
see an ent specialist to confirm the site of injury.
regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi
