Cold, Bitter Tasting Phlegm In Throat. Got Wisdom Tooth Extracted

I just had my wisdom teeth taken out, and I developed a cold. The weird thing is I feel like there is a nasty bitter tasting, yellow looking phlem just dripping into the back of my throat, and when I swallow it is a horrible taste. What's is this? I was thinking a sinus infection but I have no pressure in my nose, eyes, or head.

hello dear
thanks for your query at hcm
Yellow color phlegm dripping down the throat and bad taste indicate that it is from infection.
Source can be from upper respiratory tract mostly origin can be sinus.
Recently you had molar tooth extraction that might be cause for infection in sinus.
My recommendation would be that you visit ent specialist and get physically examined for source of infection and get investigation and treatment accordingly.
regards.
