Hello
Thanks for your query.
Minor amount of bleeding / spotting is normal for upto 2 - 3 weeks following an abortion.
However, post any kind of medical / surgical abortion, it is mandatory to have a follow up visit with your gynecologist to confirm that the procedure is complete and the uterine cavity is empty. An ultrasound will confirm this.
Regarding your swelling and tingling, I think you should evaluate your blood pressure, because pedal edema could be because of high blood pressure.
Also tingling in the limbs could be because of vitamin B complex deficiency, or early diabetes.
Sometimes, standing and working for prolonged periods, particularly post an abortion, can cause edema in the feet.
Take care.
