Constant Bleeding After Taking Corisone Injection In Knee. Menopausal. Pap Smear Clear. How Long Will The Bleeding Last?

I would like the answer to the question re: Cortisone injection in knee and postmenopausal cramps/bleeding. I am the same age as the previous patient (Heide - April 25, 2012) - had injection on 7/25/13 - bleeding commenced on 7/31 - still ongoing as of today (8/7) - had pap smear - clear. Would appreciate your answer. Also -- any idea how long the bleeding will last? Thank you. Linda

hi..
you have postmenaupausal bleeding..
pap smear will not give much ingformation on this aspect..
it could be a DUB, anyways endometrial pathologies/malignancies should be ruled out..
go for endometrial biopsy...see your gynaecologist for this..
all the very best..
