Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been constipated, nauseous, had headaches, fatigued and just felt horrible, as if I had the flue, but I have not had a fever. I am taking suboxone. I don't know if that would have anything to do with it but i am desperate to feel better. I can not stop the suboxone treatment because I do not want to go back to the narcotics I was on before. Please help.
Since suboxone contains buprenorphine, which is an opioid derivative it is not unusual that you are having nausea which is a common side effect of most of the opioids. I also think that you should start using the treatment as recommended by your psychiatrist, to avoid these side effects.
Take care and have a lovely day!
