Continuous Chest Pain, Upper Arm, Neck. Normal EKG And ECG, Blood Work Showed Inflammation Of Unknown Origin, Had Gall Bladder Surgery. Cause Of Persisting Pain?
I have had EEG and EKG with no findings. All blood work good ( cholesterol and triglycerides) though I do have an inflammation of unknown origin. still, I have achiness in chest, upper left arm, in neck. Sometimes it comes and goes; lately it is persistent. Been to pcp and cardiologist. Gallbladder out. Who next?? Please help. I am paranoid and I have a young child.
Hi
As you have already done investigations like ECG and lipids , which are normal , you need not worry about seriousness of disease .
Besides this you can consider tests like stress test or TMT and Color doppler of heart which will confirm that the problem is mostly due to non cardiac ( other than Heart ) causes .
Stress and anxiety may also be one of the reason for this type of complaints .
At present you may not need any drugs , but stress and anxiety management will help you .
Thx
