I have continual muscle pain, I ache from my shoulders to my knees. I am always tired yet I cant sleep all night without waking up at least twice. Ihave difficulty concentrating and now my vision is getting erratic. sometimes it is fuzzy and other times it is normal. I am depressed , im not sure if it is about the pain or im suffering from depression.
I have a job but im finding it increasingly difficult to cope. I have tinnitus continually and have difficulty gripping things , like opening bottles. etc. I have problems walking far as I have pain in my back if I do walk. can you give me some idea of what my problem may be

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi.
Depression manifests commonly as low mood, loss of energy, increased fatiguability, loss of interest and inability to concentrate; along with a variety of symptoms like loss of appetite, sleep disturbances, and multiple unexplained bodily pains.
In your case, you report quite a few of these. Also you describe some other physical symptoms as well, like difficulty in opening bottles, difficulty in walking for long etc.

I believe you would benefit from a psychiatric consultation. Not only will that address the depressive symptoms, but also will ensure a proper and competent evaluation of other physical symptoms to rule out any underlying organic pathology.

In cases of mild depression, Psychotherapies like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) have been found to be as effective as medicines, and therefore your symptoms are likely to have a good prognosis.

Hope this helps.
