I had a sinus /allergy problem with drainage that led to a cough and sore throat...sooo I slept elevated with extra pillows...now I have a sore neck, back, and right shoulder down to about 1/4 of my arm...my doctor gave me valium and i have naproxen and tramadol at home ...the pain has been persistent for a week
which of the two drugs are better to take for pain with the valium?

Hi,
Naproxen is an anti inflammatory drug and good pain killer. It is effective for joint pains. Tramadol is also a strong pain killer but can cause sleepiness, dizziness and nausea in some people.
I would suggest you try naproxen first. If you find no relief after 24 hours of medication then try Tramadol.
